Because I believe for everyone of us "old folks" that have the reaction of "Ugh not this shit again" and are tired of seeing this type of repeat threads, there are 2-3 new members who've participated in this topic for the first time.

Now on the topic of repeating threads everyone is tired of seeing, I personally and honestly think that the best "fix suggestion" is to not do anything at all. Congrats to Mark for growing as a person. Really, I don't think there's anything else we can do besides learning from them and moving on like Mark did. I think this is what we call "Growing as a person." and "Learning from past mistakes." We're all human and we all make mistakes. What Mark did was bad, yeah but he realized his error, decided not to repeat similar behavior and moved on and learned. I want to comment a bit about the "What to do with repeating/ groundhog day threads" discussion but first I want to say I agree with Mark and seed. You know, it takes just as much work to properly welcome somebody than it does to insult them and call them edgy 13-yos. Stop insulting Brutal Doom players, calling them 13 year olds, have more patience to introduce them into community and showing them new mods.

Acknowledge that it's a tool for bringing new people. Now it's up to the rest of the Doom community to do it's part. You need to acknowledged that these things happened. The timeline "if I never did these things" doesn't exists. What I'm saying is that you can't bother yourself with " ifs" because they can't be made real. Im not said you need to redeem yourself or some shit like that if thats what you are thinking Like i said in my first comment you put all this stuff behind you and you even seen to be a cool dude and im genuinely hyped for brutal fate all im saying is that nothing like this would have happened if you didnt say these things in the past Im not bringing them up again or said they are bad or something like that im not here to keep hating on your work
